No Place, No Pay*

University Offer Withdrawal or Change of Institution

No Place, No Pay applies to first-year undergraduate students and postgraduate students only.

If your offer of a place at your chosen University or Higher Education Institution is withdrawn because you did not achieve the required grades, you may be eligible to be released from your accommodation agreement.

You may also be eligible if you are a prospective first-year undergraduate student and choose to attend a different university as a result of achieving grades higher than expected (UCAS Adjustment).

How to Apply

To be considered for release from your agreement, you must:

  • Submit a formal cancellation request via our designated cancellation process

  • Provide the relevant supporting documentation (see below)

  • Ensure all documentation is submitted within 7 calendar days of your results being published

Accepted Supporting Documentation

You will need to provide one of the following:

  • A written rejection letter from your chosen university/college or UCAS

  • A screenshot of your UCAS status confirming the required results were not achieved

  • Proof of acceptance at a new university via UCAS Adjustment

All documentation will be reviewed and verified by our team.

Important Information

  • Cancellation requests submitted outside the 7-day window may not be accepted

  • Once approved, your accommodation agreement will be cancelled in line with this policy

  • Any refund eligibility will be assessed in accordance with the terms of your agreement
