One of the best features of this lovely city is that it sits just alongside the picturesque British coast. That’s right, you can find yourself on Roker Beach within half an hour of leaving your student accommodation in Sunderland. If you’re yet to see the British seaside, we recommend a trip as soon as possible. That being said, remember you’re in the North, so pack a warm coat, and make it a waterproof one at that!
Our location is around 10 minutes away, via public transport, from the famous Stadium of Light. Playing host to Sunderland FC for their home games, you’ll be able to watch some of the most exciting games in English football practically on your doorstep.
After a few games, who knows, you might just have a new favourite team.
