Whether it’s partnering with global environmental charities or running local events, our commitment to sustainability is embedded in everything we do.
Our Partnership with JUSTONE Tree
We proudly support JUSTONE Tree, a non-profit dedicated to global reforestation. For every student who books with AXO for the academic year, we donate £1 – and in return, JUSTONE Tree plants one tree on their behalf.

This simple initiative allows every resident to contribute to climate action and make a difference from the moment they book with us.

As part of our commitment to green living, we also host on-site tree planting events with residents as part of our AXO Life program. These moments give our student communities the chance to physically contribute to our environment while connecting with each other. Whether planting saplings in communal green spaces or adopting potted trees, it’s about growing something meaningful together.
Earth Day & The Big Switch Off
Our annual Earth Day celebrations are a highlight in the AXO Life calendar, bringing sustainability to life through engaging, educational events across our sites.
One of the biggest moments each year is The Big Switch Off — where every AXO property powers down electricity for one hour in solidarity with global energy conservation efforts. It’s a powerful way to raise awareness and show how small actions can lead to meaningful change.
