Keep yourself busy during the Easter break – Part 1
6 things to do in semester break! (Part 1)
The break is a great time to relax and reward yourself for your hard work this past semester. Need some ideas on how to spend this Easter break. Read on.
Tip 1 – Go on a trip
Travelling is the best, isn’t it? Especially in the UK, there are numerous towns and sightseeing spots that you must check! If you are a fan of movies and TV series like Harry Potter or Game of Thrones, follow the route to visit the shooting spots! There is loads information online to help you plan your trip. Want something funny? Go to some places with hilarious names such as Great Snoring in the North Norfolk, Shitterton in Dorset, Twatt in Orkney (Scotland) and Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch in Wales! Tag us in your pics and let us know where you’ve been exploring!
Tip 2 – Volunteering
You can always help others whenever you want to. Volunteering is also a good chance to meet new friends and give back. There are a lot of charities that need volunteers to help in their events. Visit the ‘Team London’ website from the Mayor of London, where you can search volunteering opportunities which interested you.
Tip 3 – Catch up your readings and studies
Now we would mark this bold and state high priority – but as we know all our students work so hard during term time – we know we don’t need to insist! However, maybe you did not get through all the reading list, or maybe you could just do with digging into some further detail from your lectures. The break is a great time to go and catch up, do not let it go to waste! There may be less pressure to study during the break, but dedicating some time to it will mean you can really push ahead once classes and exams kick in after the break!
We hope you enjoyed the above – watch this space as we post some more next week!
