Galaxy-Themed Welcome Party at Paradise Student Village 🎉✨

At Paradise Student Village, we kicked off the 2025/26 academic year in style with our biggest and best AXO Life Welcome Party yet! This year’s theme was Galaxy & Outer Space, and it was an unforgettable night for both international students arriving in Coventry and our returning domestic student residents.

From music and food to interactive activities, the evening was packed with fun, laughter, and the chance to make new friends. Here’s a look back at all the highlights:

🚀 Out-of-this-World Entertainment

The courtyard was buzzing with energy as our live DJ set the vibe for the night, playing music that kept everyone dancing under the stars. Inside the cinema room, students were transported into space with a stunning VR Galaxy Experience. The immersive 40-second journey ended with a challenge to discover a hidden silver pearl in a giant pool of colourful balls – a unique and fun twist that had everyone talking!

🎨 Creative & Fun Activities

In the common room, residents could express themselves with galaxy-themed face painting, with glowing designs that matched the interstellar atmosphere. Out in the courtyard, an inflatable assault course gave everyone the chance to challenge their friends and race against the clock – one of the most popular activities of the night!

🍔 Food & Drinks to Fuel the Night

No AXO Life event is complete without great food and drink, and this year’s line-up was our most exciting yet. Students enjoyed:

  • A BBQ & Burger Stall serving up fresh bites straight from the grill

  • A Boba Cart with refreshing bubble tea

  • A Pan-Rolled Ice Cream Stand with delicious custom-made desserts

  • A Coffee & Frappé Mini Van, also offering tasty snacks for late-night cravings

This Galaxy Welcome Party truly raised the bar for AXO Life events at Paradise Student Village. It was the perfect way to start the new academic year, giving students the chance to connect, celebrate, and feel part of a vibrant community.
