Food and drink (our favourite topic)

Across the road from AXO Islington: Owl and Hitchhiker which won the Design My Night 2018/19 award for best pub in North London. Owl and Hitchhiker is a trendy pub home to a variety of food, drinks and if you’re after vegan food or responsibly sourced meat then this is the place for you!

1 minute walk: La Scelta offers Italian, Moroccan, Mediterranean, vegan, vegetarian, helal and gluten free options- is there anything they don’t do! Rating on Tripadvisor for food, service and value is 5 stars suggesting that it’s definitely worth a try.

8 minute walk: Coffee House 607, let’s talk about coffee, ethical coffee that is. Coffee House 607 believe in benefitting farmers and small business within the coffee industry and provide “healthy and hearty breakfasts and friendly customer service”.

Running from lectures to seminars can get very tiring so it’s important to start your day with good breakfast and coffee (if you’re a coffee drinker). It is important to take care of yourself and a good start to the day always helps.

3 minute walk- Dominos, every student’s favourite Pizza place. The great thing about Dominos is that if you don’t want to walk for 3 minutes (we won’t judge you) you can order it for delivery!

Don’t forget we have student discount codes at reception so come and pick yours up!

7 minute walk: Indian Ocean Tandoori Restaurant if it’s your first time living in the UK, you will notice our love for curry. If you’re looking for a mid-week treat, a tasty one at that, then you should add Indian Ocean to your list of restaurants to try.
